We’re so lucky in Brighton and here in Fiveways to have a great selection of independent shops.. @5waysfruits is just around the corner from us and it’s a great greengrocer.. if you’re looking to reduce the amount of food packaging then do support your local greengrocer as unlike the big supermarkets the majority of the produce is loose and and they have paper, not plastic bags to weigh them in. @5waysfruits has a fabulous selection of fruit & veg and they sell a great range of @infinityfoodsbrighton items and @ecover_uk products and refills. #shopsmall #shoplocal #brighton #supportsmallbusiness #reduceplastic #brightonindieshop #fivewaysbrighton #smallbusinesssaturday #independentshop #brightonshopping #shoplife

Thank you to everyone who has donated toiletries over the past few months for Whitehawk Food Bank.. here’s Anne from the food bank collecting another full basket.. It’s shocking that there is a need in such a rich country for this but we will continue to collect as long as there is a need.. as Universal Credit kicks in more and more people are finding that they can’t afford even the basics. Anne said that at the moment there’s a shortage of baby wipes, deodorant and night time sanitary towels so if you’d like to help please drop off donations in our shop #foodbanks #brighton #womensupportingwomen #endperiodpoverty #freeperiods
